Eich Bhana Lìr – at 46 years old, Bunnahabhain's oldest bottling
The whiskey rarity Bunnahabhain 46 years Eich Bhana Lìr is an exceptional whiskey that owes its fascinating and great aromas both to the long maturation period of more than four decades and to the selected former Oloroso sherry cask. Bunnahabhain - the extraordinary whiskeys from the north of the island of Islay
Located at the mouth of the River Margadale on the Scottish island of Islay, Bunnahabhain distillery is the island's most northerly distillery. It was founded by James Ford, James Greenlees and William Robertson and began whiskey production in 1883. After several changes of ownership and the cessation of production in the meantime, the distillery now belongs to the South African Distell Group.
